WRM Newsletter - Easter 2007
WELCOME to our EASTER Newsletter,
the first newsletter of 2007!

Only yesterday it seems, we waved goodbye to 2006, and yet already Easter is upon us! Well, with membership at an all-time high it’s hardly surprising the first few months of 2007 have passed in a blur. But far from taking it easy we’re implementing some exciting changes set to change the face of WRM forever!

FREE for ALL
Important changes to pricing structure

Here’s the first bit of news! We have just changed our pricing structure so that it is now FREE TO SEARCH with WRM! Registering has always been free; you register your details and add your attendances free of charge.

If you wanted to use the search engines on the site we would then prompt you to upgrade to full membership for a nominal fee. Well now you can SEARCH FOR FREE!

You’ll have free access to all of the 18 search engine categories and it won’t cost you a thing to establish whether the person you are looking for is also registered with WRM.

Recommend a FRIEND

All we ask is that you tell as many people as possible! The more members, the more successful your search is likely to be. Simply click the ‘tell a friend’ link and log into your own address book from your email account, this then displays a list of your contacts and you click on the ones you wish to invite (you can still enter addresses manually of course). So don’t be shy! Spread the word and recommend us to somebody you know! Click here to recommend a friend, or click one of the icons below:

HIGH PROFILE
Future site development

Here’s the second bit of big news! We want to encourage everyone who registers to add their profile – let’s face it; it’s always nice to see who you’re talking to and how much a person’s changed!

So, we plan to upgrade our profile page in the near future so that it gives members the opportunity to make their profile look more like their own web page. You’ll be able to give it your own look and feel, upload as many photos as you wish and much more, so watch this space!

And now over to YOU...
Your Stories

As ever you’ve been impressing us with your tales of success, and some simply belie belief! Take Michele Goument in the UK, for example. Hers was a story of a family reunited against the odds, and what incredible odds!

Two families living 650km apart in their home country of South Africa, not having spoken to each other in almost twenty years, turning up on the same doorstep nearly 10,000 kilometres away in the UK!

And this month’s Star Story is just as exceptional. Rob Lambert, originally from Bulawayo in what was then ‘Old Rhodesia’, now Zimbabwe, managed to track down a very dear childhood friend more than 16,000 kilometres away in Oregon in the United States!

As these stories illustrate, the past really is just a click away regardless of where you are in the world and irrespective of distance, and as far as we’re aware, we’re the ONLY people-finder website that reunites across a GLOBAL network.

So please keep your stories coming! Every month we’ll reward the sender of the best story, our ‘star story’, with a magnum of Champagne or luxury food hamper. Please send your stories to sam@who-remembers-me.com.

For the very latest gossip from all around the world log onto the ‘Success Stories’ page.

Attendances

And don’t forget those attendances! Make sure you list as many attendances as possible. Without these we can’t match you with anyone.

‘Attendances’ are the names of any ‘search-engine’ institutions such as colleges, schools and clubs you may have attended, or streets you may have lived on.

There are 18 different attendance categories to choose from so there really is no excuse! The more attendances you add, the easier it is for you to be found by old friends. Click here to add attendances now.

Remember, it’s free to add as many attendances as you like and it’s now free to search attendance categories. Whenever a new member adds an attendance that matches one of yours, we will instantly email you with a link to their profile.

We also send you a monthly ‘matching attendance report’ with all your matches at a glance.

Recommendations & SUGGESTIONS

If you have any recommendations or suggestions that might improve our site please let us know. If we use any of them we’ll send you a hamper by way of saying thank you. Please send your recommendations and suggestions to sam@who-remembers-me.com.

HAPPY EASTER!

Finally, the whole Who-Remembers-Me team would like to wish all our members around the world a very happy holiday season!

Here’s to happy memories, remembering the good times and getting in touch with old friends – wherever they may be! Happy Easter!
