Who-Remembers-Me.com was established in 2003 to provide a complete worldwide service for finding and connecting with old friends.

Founder Rob Billington was interested in rediscovering people from his past, but felt frustrated by the limitations of other websites that focused primarily on school friends.

Rob’s formative memories were of friends from the neighbourhood near Manchester where he had grown up, and from his first steps into the world of work; it was these friends he wanted to find.

What was needed was a more complete web service that catered for a wider range of experiences, one that included streets, workplaces, clubs and childrens homes. So, drawing on his ICT background, Rob began exploring ideas. Who-Remembers-Me.com was born.

The site offers a unique chance to rediscover friends from all walks of life and from around the world. The wide range of attendance categories to search under means more opportunities to find old friends.

As the database of registered members continues to grow – and it is growing fast – the number of ‘matches’ with old friends will increase. Inevitably it takes time for word to spread, but WRM has already welcomed its FIVE MILLIONTH member and is now charging towards its six-million milestone as thousands of new faces, from all over the world, sign up every day. And, if we all make the most of the new ‘Tell a friend’ link, it won’t be long before six million become seven million...
