“Long time, no see. There’s too much to tell in a few lines, but I’ll give it a go… After university I went travelling around South America for six months, which was amazing. Now I live in London and work in advertising, which is going really well (just about come to terms with not being a professional footballer!). I’ve got a great girlfriend who lives with me but no kids on the way yet - as far as I know! Still see a lot of Paul and James. Get in touch if you want to know more – it would be great to hear from people.”
“Hello everyone. I’ve just retired from work as a human resources manager and I thought it would be nice to contact some of my old friends now that I’ve got a bit more time on my hands. I live in Cheshire with my wife who is retiring next year and we plan to see a bit more of the world (or Europe at least) in our mobile home. Our daughter has just had our first grandchild so we see them as much as possible – they are not too far away in Manchester. I would love to know how all the old gang is getting on.”
“Well, where to begin? I’ve just got divorced for the second time (I know!) but I’m now living with a wonderful man who I met after I joined a local book group (our eyes met over Pride a Prejudice!). I haven’t had any children but I’ve got a beautiful pony who takes up a lot of my time. I work as a hairdressing lecturer at a further education college in the Midlands, which I really enjoy. If you fancy reminiscing about the old days, then I’d love to hear from you.”
“Hi. Does anyone from school remember Mr Brown’s ‘hilarious’ impressions (not)? What’s everyone doing now? I’m working at a hotel in Barcelona at the moment, after doing leisure and tourism and Spanish at college. It’s a lovely place but I do get a bit home sick, so send me an email to cheer me up.”
