Newlands East pupils reunited after 19 years!
Merina Allison from Durban in South Africa, recently traced an old school friend through WRM, despite having since changed surnames.
Merina last saw her friend in Matric in 1988 when they attended Newlands East Senior Secondary School together in Newlands East, Durban. She has since moved to Cape Town in South Africa, but Merina is sure they’ll be meeting up soon as her friend still has family in Durban.
“It was good to contact her and catch up on what's has happened these past 19 years. Shew time flies! Putting in years makes us realise how short life is… Thank you for providing the means to meet after all these years.”
