27 years later and more than 16,000 km apart – best friends found!
And finally, another tale of friends reunited against incredible odds.
When Rob Lambert’s friend Roger Greene moved from their hometown of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe, then Rhodesia, to Oregon in the United States, they sadly lost touch and for 27 years there was no contact.
However, all this changed the day Rob logged on to WRM. He soon received an email back from Roger and before long the pair were catching up on 27 years of history:
“It was absolutely awesome, receiving that first email! It felt like I had found something I thought would never be found again. Without WRM we would still be searching for each other…”
