Berlei buddies back in touch!
Pamela Harrison from Australia has recently found and met up with a very dear friend from many years ago.
She and Sydna Yates (married name Turner) first met at Berlei, where they both worked.
Pamela was 16 at the time and this was her first job. She and Sydna became the best of friends. They worked together for 4 years but remained friends for many years to come.
Then, as so often happens, Pamela and Sydna’s lives steered them in different directions. They both got married, had children and inevitably, they drifted apart.
That was 35 years ago. Pamela and Sydna are now back in contact thanks to WRM, and what’s more, there’s already been a reunion! Both still in Australia, they met up recently in Gold Coast and there wasn’t a dry eye between them…
