Karl Reiher, an ex-matelot, from New Zealand had a bit of a surprise when he found none other than his ex-wife through the site! Apparently he hadn’t seen her or spoken to her in over 20 years, but as she too was a former matelot and was on the site looking for old shipmates, they stumbled across each other. Karl says it was quite an event and they had a lot of catching up to do, especially as his ex-wife now lives in Australia and has been happily married for many years. But at least they’re back in regular contact and as Karl says, any differences they may have had are long forgotten. Karl says: “I must admit, she was the last person i expected to hear from, so thanks Who-Remembers-Me.com for giving us the opportunity to share old times and memories.”
