Brenda O’Leary from Morecambe in the UK, wrote to say she was recently contacted by her school friends of 1954. She says they had an awful lot to catch up on and are certainly going to keep in touch now that they have found each other again. Apparently there’s a planned reunion in July. Brenda says: “You can imagine how pleased I was… After leaving boarding school in 1954 we all promised to keep in touch, but over the years marriage and children come along and it doesn’t happen. I have just celebrated my 70 birthday and finding my friends has brought life back in to me. I will certainly be travelling to Essex from Morecambe to see them again!”
