Bev Cannell, a former teacher at Ilminster Intermediate School in New Zealand, wrote to say she has been able to contact several of the pupils she taught in 1970 through the site. She is trying to trace as many of the class as possible and hopes to organise a class reunion. She says there could be a reunion next year to celebrate the school’s 50th year. A reunion would be extra special for Bev because she was a first day pupil herself at Ilminster Intermediate when it first opened 50 years ago. She has also been able to trace former classmates through WRM and hopes that next year pupils, teachers and friends will all be able to catch up.
